A perfect raindrop falls down
Leaving the skies so high
All by itself it drops
On the leaves of a perfect rose it stops

Standing in a field so beautiful
The rose sends its scent on the wind
Attracting birds and bees from all around
And this man who cuts the perfect rose he just found

A perfect rose in his hand
Walking slowly to this door
Trembling fingers press the bell
The door opens and there she is, the girl for whom he fell

The perfect rose met by a perfect smile
She lets him in and gives a kiss on his lips
With a warm feeling he stares into her eyes
They sparkle more than stars in the nightly skies

Now when for a second she is not by his side
He looks up to the stars in the sky and knows
No matter how far they are apart
As long as there are stars, they share a heart
