Light passes the curtains
Caressing the floor towards the bed
Beaming sunshine
On the girl in my bed
Who is she, where’d she come from?
Why wonder, why complain
We both must have wanted the same
Aching my mind
Not able to remember
The name belonging to this beauty
Did I really drank that much?
Hope it didn’t affect my touch
Asleep so peaceful
Can only guess what she is dreaming about
A sparkle in the light
A gold necklace catches my sight
A pendant of gold
The name of this beauty my eyes behold
“Laura” nice name
She roles to her other side
Clearly between dream and waking up
I slide out of bed slowly
Letting her be for a little while longer
Wobbling to the kitchen
Smiling scratching
Slowly again remembering
It been a nice night
Now to do what is right
Make her some coffee
