Glistening in the light
A knife lays on the table edge
Dripping slowly from the tip
Are all the things I wanted to say
Collecting together in a puddle
No words were spoken
The picture tells a tale
A tale with a sad end
A tale without trust
Twisted mind
Torn soul
Sliced veins
This all filled my mind
Emotions over reason
Emotions can be stronger than the mind
They can take you over for hours
When in luck they let you go
Getting yourself together
Before you take yourself apart
The pain doesn’t fade
But reason re-births you some faith
