Amsterdam (10th of December ’05)

A face on the end of the platform
A hug and embrace
Another train rolls in
Bringing friends as close as kin
Sharing time having a blast
This time should always last
A new day
Friends reunite
The family expands
Hugging and shaking hands
Silly gifts warm smiles
Creating a glow that can be seen for miles
Window shopping near red lights
Bar hopping and getting herbal delights
Laughing and spending time
Emptying glasses of mulled wine
Sadly days have ends
But I will always know I have friends
