Forlorn at shore
The cold air touches my face
My shivering body longing for a soft embrace
Standing here my feet in the sand
Missing your fingers in my hand
The wind whistles over the dunes
A melody filled with sad tunes
The grey water turns white
Meeting the land under the winter sun, oh so bright
One day I will stand here once more
Watching the waves roll ashore
When I look over my shoulder
Beauty will meet the eye of the beholder
On my side she will be
The most beautiful person I will ever see
